Fall, 2023 Meeting Recap

Associate Chancellor Robin Kaler: Campus Update

SUAA-UIUC's fall meeting opened with a light reception at 6 pm followed by a keynote presentation from Associate Chancellor and long-time Director of Public Affairs Robin Kaler.

Kaler noted that this fall's total enrollment of 56,403 includes the largest enrollment of undergraduate students in the history of the campus. She described extensive scholarship programs to help students afford college costs and pointed out that 55% of graduates emerge with zero debt; those that did have to borrow typically owe about $25,000 upon graduation.

She outlined several new initiatives on campus, several of which have landed significant federal and private grants. A video of the presentation and subsequent business meeting is available at this link.
A transcript of the meeting is here.
